8051 microcontroller board with 16 I/O and up to 64KB external program memory
This is an extremely useful microcontroller board. It runs on the ever-popular 8051 controller and can access 0 to 64KB of external program memory. NOTE: for external memory of less than the 64KB shown in the schematic, some minor changes may have to be made in the connections to various enable pins on the memory IC. Refer to the data sheet of the particular memory you will use to verify the connections. R1 and C1 make up the power-up-reset circuitry. Although the power-up-reset circuitry is not required, it definitely would be recommended for a reliable controller board. C1 and C2 values are not very critical but should be near 25pf ± 15pf. |
